Friday is here and that means its time for another Flashtrack Friday to jump off. If you are new to the site Flashtrack Friday is a time when I share a piece of video game music that I have been listening to lately. I can get weird on you sometimes, but I keep the hits coming. For all the regular visitors, appreciate you coming through. Let's get down to business.This week's track comes for the PSN game Soldner X. Soldner X is a Gradius type space shooter than I recommend you check out. Before playing Assassin's Creed 2 all night, I played this game for two hours just to listen to the soundtrack. The music is the game has an uptempo, techno vibe, but its well composed. You can tell the game's creators wanted the music to stand out from all other PSN games. Here's music from the first stage of the game to give you an overall feeling of the entire soundtrack.

What's good people. Flashtrack Fridays is back. You already know that I have something good for you check out this week. I don't wanna hype it up, but if you are a fan of Contra 1 from the NES this is for you. This track is entitled Snow Field and it was created by Jack Kirkpatrick aka tefnet. They say Contra has some of the hardest music to remake, but tefnet did the game justice. This track is sure to bring back memories if you were lucky enough to experience the NES era. Even if you didn't start playing games until Halo like Htown, this track is still banging on all levels. Click play and see what I mean. P.S...
